When season 2 of ‘Sex and the City’ reboot ‘And Just Like That’ returns, it will be bringing with it a very familiar face.
For, it has been confirmed that Kim Cattrall will be reprising the iconic role of Samantha Jones.

According to Variety, Cattrall – who has been vocal about not wanting any parts of the revival (or her former co-stars) will be back on the box. Albeit in a unique way.
Billed as somewhat of a “one night only” event, Cattrall will feature in the Max show’s finale.
Having already shot in March, the star is set to only appear in one scene.
After declining an offer to join the cast of ‘And Just Like That,’ Cattrall’s character was written out with a move to London.
Still, there were routine references to Samantha and the season 1 finale saw Samantha and Sarah Jessica Parker‘s Carrie Bradshaw make plans over text to meet to mend fences.
In “real life,” it appears it’s a case of baby steps. Because Cattrall is reported to have filmed her scene without seeing or speaking with her co-stars or showrunner Michael Patrick King.
Suffice it to say, some Samantha is better than no Samantha.

I don’t care about this show but it’s so childish that they can’t put aside their difference for a few hours, especially regarding how much they are paid, to please their audience. They are the ones who carried the show and let a comeback happen. They are so disconnected from life.

It’s already been reported in Variety that she only appear in one scene, a small cameo where she appears by herself in a car. She doesn’t even appear with any of the other actors.
